At our meeting of June 2, the Vestry discussed at length a plan for St.Peters to have two half time Rectors. It is an interesting proposal, one with some intruiging advantages for St. Peters and some risks. We voted to signal our approval of the tentative plans as presented to us, to give Mary Marguerite and Kirk some confidence to work out more of the details, and to commit the Vestry to move forward with our own deliberations, culminating in a vote in three weeks. We are focussed primarily on making the best decision for the life of St. Peters; a discussion with the rest of the St. Peters community about these plans is vital to accomplish that.
